There are many singing lessons on CD now available. There some advantages and disadvantages to learning singing this way. I will discuss some of them below.

Rarely do I see singers getting their full money how of singing lessons because they don't end up following the teacher's advice completely. So there's just flexibility in learning some of these things on your own after you've had some initial lessons.

I do thing just a few lessons with a coach can be a good idea in the beginning. It helped me tremendously because honestly I was kind of clueless when I started singing.
